Lover Lover’s blend of synths and harmonies is a lovely way to welcome the weekend. “If you say it’ll be alright, then I know it’ll be alright,” sings Eleanor Bodenham, as the “young, free” mantra repeats in the background. It’s music full of optimism and possibility.“It’s like when you learn to drive for the first time and take an old car out on your own,” says Bodenham of her debut album There Is A Place, out next month. “You’ve got nowhere to go and nowhere to be. But it’s a hot night and the sun is going down and all the windows are open and you’re listening to something that makes your eyes melt.”
