Over the years, Twitch has become much more than just the hottest commodity for video game streaming on the web. Resurrection Fern would attest to that. Over the past three years that she’s been a part of the Twitch streaming community, she’s amassed hundreds of fans who follow her broadcasts several times each week. There, they’re able to catch Fern performing live, but also are given the chance to interact and peer into her life as a singer-songwriter.
Following up on her community-funded debut album, Beyond the Trees, is a new single offering. Written by a dear friend of hers, ‘Savanna’ is a heartfelt indie folk number. Melancholic guitar tones offer the basis from which Fern paints an atmospheric picture, her vocals driving the piece towards a feeling of reflective sorrow.
Recently, Fern completed the development of her second community-funded album at Nashville’s Station West. It is set for release in the near future.
