Laura Marling is planning a busy summer. Only yesterday we told you she would be playing at Honeyfest, and today we have news that she will headline the Cambridge Folk Festival in July.
Laura will help bring proceedings to a close on Sunday night in Cherry Hinton as the biggest name on a line-up that also includes Richard Thompson, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and The Secret Sisters.
They were among a handful of acts announced by organisers of the long-running festival as they prepare to reveal the full roster in stages.
Also on the list were Chris Wood, Newton Faulkner, Bellowhead, Kate Rusby, and Raul Malo.
The festival runs from July 28-31, and tickets range from £39-50 for a day ticket to £114 for the whole caboodle.
