Brooklyn brilliants The National have invited their fellow New Yorkers Phosphorescent on their 17-date European tour.
It’s not the first times the bands have teamed up. To promote their latest (and excellent) album, The National took over an empty shop next to legendary record store Other Music in Manhattan, where they curated a series of gigs that included performances from Phosphorescent, Sharon Van Etten and The Antlers. It was enough to make us want to move to Brooklyn.
But enough wistfulness. The bands will be in Europe from 11th November, with dates in Bristol, Coventry, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Dublin.
