Belfast’s Open House Festival has made its first line-up announcements with Seasick Steve, Wilco, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Felice Brothers The Low Anthem and AA Bondy all set for shows.
Seasick Steve will make a return to Belfast after his debut solo shows there in 2005 and credits the city with his career taking off. He said: “If I hadn’t done that gig in Belfast, I don’t think I’d be playing now.”
All gigs at the the 6-day event – where musicians stage a veritable takeover of Belfast’s city centre – are separately ticketed. In a very friendly and thoroughly FFS-approveed move, there are no booking or transaction fees.
The festival takes place from 7th-12th September. See www.openhousefestival.com for more details.
