Building on a successful 2013 that saw her track ‘Free Your Mind’ become Huw Stephens’s and BBC Introducing track of the week, Folly Rae returned earlier this month with the lead track, lifted from her debut EP of the same name – ‘Run For Cover’.
Now Folly has released the accompanying video for the track and we’re proud to share it with you now. Set to other-worldly landscapes, the ‘Run For Cover’ video was directed by Calum Creasey and creates the perfect backdrop to Folly’s stunning vocals.
With support from BBC Radio One’s DJ Target, Charlie Sloth, and Mistajam and having been in the studio with ‘Sticky Productions’, the team behind the likes of Ed Sheeran, Folly is set to make her mark in 2015, with her honey-toned vocals offered on a sharp knife of wit, and expertly crafted production.
Born in Hertfordshire, with Norwegian heritage, Folly trained as a classical dancer, before realising it was her love for music that she wanted to pursue. Now firmly focused on her solo material, Folly returns and is building momentum towards the release of her long-awaited debut EP.
