Cate Le Bon has announced that she will be touring again this September despite having already played a string of gigs in 2014 . The Welsh musician has been playing a number of shows across the UK and Europe throughout February, as well as in a hoard of USA gigs in January.
Le Bon released her third studio album ‘Mug Museum’ in December 2013, and her last string of gigs was completely sold out. As well as announcing her second tour of the year, at the same time Le Bon also released a new and previously unheard track, ‘He’s Leaving’, which is widely available to listen to online.
Cate announced the new tour on her website, catelebon.com, last Friday, as well as the dates and locations, which are as follows:
September 3rd – The Musician, Leicester
September 9th – O2 Academy 2, Oxford
September 10th – Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth
September 11th – KOKO, London
September 12th – Gorilla, Manchester
September 13th – The Sage, Gateshead
September 14th – Lemon Tree, Aberdeen
September 16th – Electric Circus, Edinburgh
September 17th – The Duchess, York
September 18th – Plug, Sheffield
On top of these dates, Le Bon will also play the following in 2014:
June 26th – St. Mary’s Church, Ashford
August 3rd – Cloudspotting Music and Arts Festival, Lancashire
August 29th – 31st – End of the Road Festival
