Mumford & Sons double bass player Ted Dwane is “recovering nicely” after undergoing surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain, according to bandmate Winston Marshall.
Dwane was taken into hospital on Monday after complaining of feeling unwell and scans revealed the clot.
Today, guitar and banjo player Marshall tweeted: “Ted is recovering nicely from surgery. He’s a brave little boy. Thanks for all your support. We are very grateful”
The band cancelled three gigs this week as Dwane recovers from the surgery.
