Nancy Elizabeth is back – and For Folk’s Sake could not be more excited.
Her third album – the first since the blissful Wrought Iron in 2009 – is due out in the summer, a single will be appearing in the coming weeks and Nancy has also announced two live dates. The first is at The Vortex in London, while the second is something a little different – Nancy will be performing at a TEDx event at Manchester University, where she will also talk about the process of writing.
Anyone familiar with Wrought Iron or Nancy’s first album Battle and Victory will know Nancy deals in wonderfully sparse, haunting folk music, simmering with understated emotion and always surprising. Keep an eye on FFS for more details of her new music as we get them…
