The one and only Nathaniel Rateliff has just announced a return voyage to the UK to play 6 shows this June, including four supporting Mumford & Sons.
The tour dates are scheduled so far as:
June 2012
Sat 2nd Gentleman of the Road Festival, Greenhead Park. HUDDERSFIELD
Mon 4th LONDON, Brixton, The Windmill
Tue 5th LOWESTOFT, Marina Theatre (supporting Mumford & Sons)
Wed 6th GATESHEAD, The Sage (supporting Mumford & Sons)
Sat 9th – Gentleman of the Road Festival, Galway, IRELAND
The Denver-via-Missouri Folk musician released his debut album “In Memory Of Loss” in March 2011, which even bought him ‘CD of 2011’ by Sunday Times Culture Magazine. With whiskey-soaked lyrics and vocals that sound beautifully worn by age and experience, the album followed huge critical acclaim, and FFS are horribly excited at the prospect of seeing Rateliff in England.

(Plus, whats more: rumour has it he’s working on the next album. Hurrah! So, for now, here’s a little recap of album no.1 ….)
