I have to admit, this is a VERY exciting bit of news to be writing.
I should start with a little introduction, in case one is not familiar with the ‘See Hear Club’. Founded in the Spring of 2011 by Anika Mottershaw, with the help of Rosa form Peggy Sue and Luisa from Lulu and the Lampshades: the three set out to create unique, intimate, and if I’m honest, truly beautiful gigs, performed upon Dalston’s very own Roof Park. With free cake, endless tea, astro-turf grass and everything else in between, audiences have been privileged enough to watched some of London’s most talented artists perform a set, followed by a group-viewing of a film of their choice. A bloody cool idea or what?
However, more to the point, the ‘See Hear Club’ are pleased to announce the arrival of Johnny Flynn to this very magical roof, who is set to play and intimate gig on the 30th July 2012. For tickets, please see here, but keep in mind that these will sell out FAST, so grab ’em while you can.
