At long last, 19-year-old Rachel Sermanni has announced the makings of her debut EP “Black Currents” which is set to be released on 30th January 2012. Written by Rachel herself and produced by Communion Record’s Ian Grimble, “Black Currents” will certainly do the job in establishing Rachel as a clear talent within the music scene.
Being a very talented musician indeed, Rachel has put her own unique spin on the EP, with tracks such as ‘Breathe Easy’ containing sections of memorising a cappella, as well as the EP’s first single ‘The Fog’ where Rachel delivers a powerful and capturing chorus. A delicately and beautifully comprised set of songs; jump on board before it speeds up.
