Singer-songwriter Laura Hocking is curating and playing a London gig for the charity Hope, which supports people with autism and learning difficulties.
She says: “Rock the Boat is a celebration of the contribution adults with autism and other learning difficulties can make to society. To raise funds for Hope, we’ll be having a hoedown on a boat on the Thames.”
The 12th August show takes place on the Tamesis, a boat moored on the Albert Embankment of the Thames near Vauxhall tube station.
Laura will be playing a solo set and math-rock folktronicas Look, Stranger! have also been lined-up to play, with another act to be confirmed.
If you’d like to attend, head to Laura’s Just Giving page and make a donation.
