To folk in the East Midlands area of England, Georgie is not a new ‘name’ to music. Having been gigging 
around the county over the past few years, including several big shows at the Nottingham Rescue Rooms, Georgie, backed by Sony Records, is being unleashed on a national scale. Her first tilt at the mainstream is the gorgeous, Spacebomb Studios (of Matthew E White fame) produced ‘Company of Thieves’, a rollicking rock ‘n’ roll number which is bound to get hips shaking and bodies moving in a live setting.
Originally from Mansfield, the 21 year old has a bright future ahead of her if she can keep making records such as this. Catch her throughout the Autumn on tour supporting fellow East Midlands singer Jake Bugg, and recently minted Number 1 artists Blossoms.
