The fields around where Ralegh Long lives are known locally as ‘Webster’s Gold’ after the man who made his fortune growing wheat for biscuits which were shipped to soldiers fighting in the Crimea. It is in these fields where Ralegh can be found in this video, directed by Darren Hayman, for new track ‘Morning (We Are In The Fields)’. The track is taken from the appropriately named upcoming EP We Are In The Fields, recorded in the space of 12 hours and telling the story of the day with songs called ‘Morning’, ‘Afternoon’, ‘Dusk’, and ‘Night’.
The EP, the follow-up to Long’s 2015 debut album Hoverance, will be released on August 12 via Gare du Nord records..
