Peggy Sue have gathered together some supremely talented friends and booked in for a headline gig at the ICA on November 6th. As well as the inevitably magnificent performance from this much-beloved threesome, there will be appearances from mega-band Sons of Noel and Adrian (at last count there were 12 of them), ethereal wonder Mechanical Bride, and good time girls Lulu and the Lampshades.
There’s a facebook event page so you can invite your friends along if you wish, and here’s where to get tickets if you’re a more decisive type (or, indeed, if you have no friends).
On September 5th Peggy Sue will be playing on a somewhat smaller scale, appearing as part of the Climate Rush Roadshow at Sipson Village (which will be cleared and replaced by tarmac if plans for Heathrow runway 3 go ahead). The gig will take place behind the King William pub in Sipson at 8pm, on the Airplot Land. Get down there for some delectable tunes and a chance to show solidarity with the eco-suffragettes.
